« A meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Sourozh »

On September 28, 2023, a regular meeting of the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Sourozh was held, under the chairmanship of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

The meeting was attended by Dean of the diocesan district of South-East England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the diocesan district of the Republic of Ireland, Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, Dean of the diocesan district of Central England, Archpriest Stephen Platt, and Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Dean of the diocesan district of Northern England and Wales, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko.

At the meeting, reports from council members were heard, a wide range of issues regarding the organization of church life in the Sourozh diocese were discussed, decisions were made to change the structure of diocesan districts, candidates for ordination to the priesthood were approved, and a number of issues were considered in accordance with the agenda.
