« Cleric of the Diocese of Sourozh took part in the XV Lambeth Conference of the Anglican Church »

The XV Lambeth Conference of the Anglican Church was held in Canterbury, UK, from July 26 to August 8, 2022.
The topic of the conference was “God's Church for God's World - walking, listening and witnessing together”. The conference is convened once every ten years by the Archbishop of Canterbury and involves the participation of the entire episcopate of the Anglican Church. 
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the conference, originally scheduled for July 2020, was postponed twice - to July 2021 and finally to July 2022.
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, took part in the conference on behalf of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The conference was attended by delegates of the Anglican Church from 165 countries of the world. The conference was also attended by His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem and All Palestine, hierarchs of the Constantinople, Antioch and Romanian Patriarchates, and a representative of the Serbian Patriarchate.
During the conference, an updated concept of the Anglican Church was adopted and expressed in the document "Lambeth Calls", which is also a textbook for educational institutions of the Anglican Communion.
