On June 2, 2022, on the feast of the Ascension of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.

His Grace was assisted by the Rector of the church, archpriest Damian Kruglik, and the clergy - priest Mikhail Volkov, priest Andrei Tikhonov and deacon Sergiy Kuznetsov.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a procession took place.

After signing "many years" three times, Rector of the church, archpriest Damian Kruglik, thanked Vladyka Matthew for the celebration of the divine service, congratulated him with the feast and spoke about the history of the left aisle of the church, which has two dedications - to St. Alexis and to the Holy Prophet Elijah.  He wished His Eminence God's abundant blessings and many years of life.

In response, Vladyka thanked Father Damian and all those present, once again reminded of the meaning of the feast of the Ascension of the Lord and congratulated everyone with the feast, reports the parish website of the church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoe.
