On April 7, 2022, on the feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother of God, the day of the repose of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated Vespers and Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.

His Grace was assisted by archpriest Damian Kruglik, priest Mikhail Volkov and deacon Sergei Kuznetsov.  At the end of the Liturgy, a glorification was sung in front of the icon of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother of God, and then Vladyka delivered a short speech in which he warmly thanked the Rector of the church, the choir, and the parishioners for their hospitality and joint prayer.

At the end of the service, Vladyka Matthew and Father Damian released white doves from the porch of the church at the gathering of the people.
