« Representatives of the Diocese of Sourozh took part in the opening of the exhibition “Island of Saints. Icons of British and Anglo-Saxon Saints” »

On July 12, 2019, the opening of the exhibition “Island of Saints. Icons of British and Anglo-Saxon Saints” presenting works of modern Russian and British icon painters, was held in the Anglican Church of All Saints, next to the Tower of London.  Anna Stonelake, an active parishioner of the Dormition Cathedral, acted as the author, inspirer and organizer of the project.
With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky and Archpriest Joseph Skinner, clerics of the Dormition Cathedral in London, took part in the opening of the exhibition.  The choir of the Cathedral of the Sourozh Diocese under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova presented a short concert program, which included spiritual chants in Church Slavonic and English.
The exhibition will run until August 2.  Admission is free.
