On July 13, 2019, on the eve of the 4th Sunday after Pentecost, feast of the synaxis of the Saints who shone in the lands of Britain and Ireland, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh headed an All-Night Vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Joseph Skinner,  Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, Archpriest Nikolai Preskure, Priest Nikita Kozlov and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The chants were sung by the choir of the Cathedral under the direction of M.V. Bezmenova.
The decision to establish the celebration of the synaxis of the Saints who shone in the lands of Britain and Ireland, on the third Sunday after Pentecost, was taken at the meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2007 (Journal No. 49).  
At the same time, the Holy Synod decided to consider the inclusion to the menology of the Russian Orthodox Church of the ancient British and Irish Saints of the undivided Church, after receiving complete hagiographic and historical materials relating to their Christian feats, time and circumstances of their glorification and reverence.
