« Bishop Matthew of Sourozh arrives in Alaska »

On June 19, 2025, as part of an archpastoral visit to the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States and Canada, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh arrived at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Alaska, USA.

During his trip to the largest US state, Bishop Matthew, at the invitation of His Beatitude Archbishop Tikhon of Washington, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, and His Eminence Archbishop Alexy of Alaska and Sitka, will take part in divine services and celebrations in churches of the Orthodox Church of America.

On the trip, His Grace is accompanied by his personal secretary N.V. Trubnikov.
