His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of South East England Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk, Priest Alexander Kapustin, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Protodeacon Ioan Sîlnic.
The liturgical chants were performed by the choir of the Dormition Cathedral under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
After the litany of fervent supplication, Bishop Matthew proclaimed a prayer for the granting of peace.
At the end of the divine service, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed those present with words of sermon and spiritual edification. Simultaneous translation into English was provided by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
In recognition of his labours for the good of the Holy Church and in connection with the memorable date of his birthday, the choirmaster of the Dormition Cathedral in London D.E. Tugarinov was awarded the Patriarchal Charter.
Bishop Matthew warmly congratulated Dmitry Tugarinov on his recent birthday and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
