On January 7, 2025, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed at the Late Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral in London.
The divine service was celebrated by the Dean of the Diocesan District of South-East England, Archpriest Vitaly Polischuk, assisted by Deacon Alexander Kapustin.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
Following the after communion verse, the Christmas message of Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, was read out in Russian and English.
At the end of the Liturgy, a glorification of the feast of the Nativity of Christ was performed, after which the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and festive greetings.
