« On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, a film was released about the Primate Ministry of His Holiness »

The Synodal Department for Relations between the Church and Society and the Media and the Press Service of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' created a film dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the enthronement of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.
The film premiered on January 24, 2024 at the State Kremlin Palace at the plenary session of the XXXII International Christmas educational readings “Orthodoxy and Russian culture: losses and gains of the past, image of the future.”
Short in length (22 minutes), but capacious in content, the film, which uses the most important and striking, including never-before-shown, fragments from several dozen of the best videos filmed by the Patriarch’s Press Service over 15 years, talks about the many facets of His Holiness' ministry.  The film provides statistical data on the life of the Church over a decade and a half.
The primatial labours of His Holiness the Patriarch are not only the work of spreading good news of the Gospels, divine services, care for the internal and external welfare of the Church and complex activities in the management of the largest Local Orthodox Church in the world, but also diverse social activities, concern for strengthening the unity of the Russian society with the State on the basis of traditional  moral values, support for the Orthodox community, the return of the moral dimension to the legal sphere, dialogue with the cultural community.
These and many other areas of His Holiness’s activities are described in the new film.
