On January 19, 2024, on the feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Dean of the Diocesan District of Southeast England, Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the Diocesan District of Southwestern England, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Archpriest Dimitri Nedostupenko, clergy of the UOC, temporarily abiding on the territory of Sourozh Diocese, Deacon Vadim Santsevitch, Deacon Ioan Sîlnic and Deacon Victor Nikiforov.
Liturgical chants were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the after-communion verse, the Archpastor awarded Mikhail Lastovsky, for his diligent subdeaconal service, with the right to wear a cassock.
Following the prayer behind the ambo, the great consecration of water took place. Then glorification was sung to the feast of the Epiphany and to St.Theophan the Recluse (1894).
A sermon on the theme of the feast was delivered by Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko.
