On the evening of September 30, 2023, on the eve of the 17th Sunday after Pentecost, Afterfeast of the Exaltation of the Cross, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated an all-night vigil at the Dormition Cathedral in London.Concelebrating with His Grace were Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the diocesan district of South-East England, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch and Deacon Alexy Kostyanovsky.
Liturgical chants were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Dmitry Tugarinov.
At Matins, after reading the Gospel, Vladyka Matthew anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
