On April 28, 2023, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh began his archpastoral visit to the Republic of Ireland.Archpriest Mikhail Nasonov, Dean of the Diocesan District of the Republic of Ireland, and Valery Pastushenko, housekeeper of St.Peter and St.Paul Church in Dublin, met Vladyka Matthew at Dublin International Airport.
Upon arrival, the Archpastor went to Athlone, located on the borders of counties of Westmeath and Roscommon, where on Saturday, April 29, he will celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the parish of the Holy Theophany of the Lord.
On the trip, His Grace is accompanied by the Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko and personal secretary N.V. Trubnikov.
