On December 19, 2023, on the feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London.With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, the divine service was headed by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, Dean of the diocesan district of South-East England. Concelebrating with Fr. Vitaly were Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the diocesan district of South-West England, Archpriest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, Priest Nikita Kozlov, Priest Vasily Gandzyuk and Deacon Ioann Silnic.
Liturgical chants were performed by the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Anna Kobrina.
Following the prayer behind the ambo, prayerful glorification was performed in front of the icon of St. Nicholas containing a piece of his holy relics.
The sermon at the end of the Liturgy was delivered by Archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk.
