On January 8, 2023, on the feast of the Synaxis of the Most Holy Mother of God, after the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in Manchester, a Christmas Tree festival was organised for the young parishioners of the church.Teachers, parents and students of the "Pokrov" parish school took part in the organisation of the party. The festive program included literary and musical performance on a Christmas theme, as well as poems, songs and carols in both Russian and English.
At the end, all children were presented with Christmas gifts.
