On September 27, 2022, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.At the late Liturgy His Grace was assisted by the Rector of the church, Archpriest Damian Kruglik, Priest Andrey Tikhonov, and Deacon Sergiy Kuznetsov.
At the end of the Liturgy, Vladyka Matthew and the clergy, who co-served with him, celebrated the glorification and venerated the Cross of the Lord. Then the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners with words of sermon and spiritual edification.
