On September 19, 2022, on the day of Сommemoration of the Miracle of the Archangel Michael at Colossae, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA and Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Starye Cheryomushki and performed the rite of consecration of new crosses and domes in the church of St. Luke of Crimea (Voyno-Yasenetsky), which is under construction, on the territory of the clinical hospital named after V.V. Vinogradov in Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by Archpriest Nikolai Karasev, Dean of the Andreevsky Church District, the clergy of the deanery, and Deacon Ioann Klintsov, cleric of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
At the end of the Liturgy, a festive procession took place.
Praying at the service were the head physician of the hospital, Olga Viktorovna Sharapova, the deputy chairman of the Synodal Department for Religious Education and Catechism, Abbot Ioann (Rubin), assistant to the Mayor's Adviser on the construction of Orthodox churches, D.B. Tkachenko, general director of the contracting organization V.V. Gataullin, representatives of the Prefecture of the South-Western District, numerous employees and patients of the hospital.
Upon completion of the rite of consecration, Bishop Matthew addressed the audience with a hierarchal message, in which he thanked all those who contribute to the charitable work of building the church of God.
Metropolitan Eugeny of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye donated an icon with a particle of the holy relics of the holy righteous Simeon of Verkhoturye to the church under construction.
After the rite of consecration, domes and crosses were installed, according to the website of the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Starye Cheryomushki.
