On August 18, 2022, on the eve of the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, officiated an all-night vigil at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.His Eminence was assisted by the Rector Archpriest Damian Kruglik, clergy and guests of the church in holy orders.
The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Valery Shcheglov, cleric of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Sokolniki.
During the Vespers, a litia was served with the blessing of bread, wheat, wine, and oil.
At Matins of the All-Night Vigil, after reading the Gospel, His Grace Archpastor anointed the clergy and parishioners with consecrated oil.
