On July 11, 2022, on the eve of the Remembrance Day of the Holy Glorious and All-Praised Chief Apostles Peter and Paul, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, temporary Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States and Canada, celebrated an all-night vigil at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Bogorodskoye, Moscow.
His Grace was assisted by the Rector of the church, archpriest Damian Kruglik, and the clergy and guests of the church.
During the evening service, the Right Reverend Archpastor served a Litiya with the consecration of bread, wheat, wine and oil.
At Matins, after reading the Holy Gospel, Vladyka Matthew anointed the clergy and believers with consecrated oil.
