On June 27, 2021, on the 1st Sunday after Pentecost, of All Saints, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by archpriest Vitaly Polishchuk, priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, and protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the trio under the direction of the cathedral's choir master Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the augmented litany, petitions were raised to get rid of the spread of the harmful epidemic - coronavirus infection.  Then His Grace Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of the harmful epidemic.
At the end of the service, the Archpastor addressed the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
The building of the Dormition Cathedral was built in 1849 and originally belonged to the Church of England.  In July 1849, the church was consecrated in honor of All Saints, more than 5,000 people were assigned to the parish, living between Kensington Palace Gardens and Albert Gate.  In 1978, through the efforts of the founder of the Sourozh diocese, Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), the building of the church was acquired into the ownership of the Russian Orthodox Church.  Commemorating the past of the church, Metropolitan Anthony always celebrated the Hierarchical Liturgy on the Day of Remembrance of All Saints.
