On April 17, 2021, on Saturday of the 5th week of the Great Lent - the feast of the Praise of the Mother of God (Saturday Akathist), the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London.The divine service was celebrated by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, assisted by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
During the Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
After the dismissal, Father Dimitri addressed the parishioners with a word of spiritual edification, Father Protodeacon Vadim translated the words of the sermon into English for the English-speaking parishioners.
The divine service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
