On March 9, 2021, on the feast of the first (IV) and second (452) finding of the head of St. John the Baptist, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Dormition Cathedral in London for parishioners over 70 years old and those who are at moderate risk group.
The divine service was celebrated by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Sourozh diocese, assisted by Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
During the Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh prayed and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
After the dismissal of the Liturgy, Father Dimitri addressed the parishioners with a sermon on the theme of the feast.
After the service, Vladyka Matthew talked with parents and children from Russia who are in the capital of the Great Britain for treatment, carried out with the support of the Russian charitable foundations and organizations and under the patronage of the Help group of the Dormition Cathedral in London.
