On March 17, 2021, on Wednesday of the first week of the Great Lent, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Dormition Cathedral in London.His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the end of the service, His Grace Vladyka addressed a word of spiritual edification. At the end of the sermon, the archpastor warmly congratulated father Protodeacon Vadim on his birthday and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
The divine service was broadcast live on the diocesan page Life of Sourozh on the social network Facebook.
Due to restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic, services (except Saturdays, Sundays and certain church feasts) at the Dormition Cathedral in London are celebrated without the participation of parishioners, behind closed doors.
