On March 14, 2021, on Cheesefare Sunday, the remembrance of the Expulsion of Adam from Eden  (Forgiveness Sunday), His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
On this day, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia celebrates the 45th anniversary of his service as a bishop.  The augmented litany included special petitions for the today honored His Holiness Patriarch Kirill.  Then Vladyka Matthew offered up a prayer for the health of His Holiness.
His Grace Vladyka Matthew was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical hymns were sung by the quartet under the direction of the choir director Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the end of the Liturgy, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed those present in the church with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.  Then Vladyka read prayers for the beginning of Great Lent in English and Church Slavonic, and on the eve of the Great Lent asked forgiveness from the clergy and parishioners of the Cathedral.
