On February 21, 2021, Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.
His Grace was assisted by the Secretary of the Sourozh Diocese, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
At the augmented litany, petitions were raised to get rid of the spread of the harmful epidemic - coronavirus infection.  Then His Grace Vladyka offered up a prayer, which is read during the spread of a harmful epidemic.
Liturgical hymns were sung by the quartet under the direction of the choir director Dmitry Tugarinov.
At the end of the Liturgy, the Right Reverend Archpastor addressed the parishioners with words of a sermon and spiritual edification.
In consideration of the labors for the good of the Holy Church and in connection with the 65th anniversary of the birth, Archpriest Joseph Skinner, Dean of the Diocesan District of the South-West of England, was awarded the Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov, III degree, and Sarah Elizabeth Skinner, singer and choir director of the Dormition Cathedral in London, was awarded the Medal of the Venerable Euphrosyne of Moscow.
