On June 16, 2019, on the 8th Sunday after Easter, Holy Trinity Day, Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh celebrated the Divine Liturgy and Great Vespers with reading knee-bending prayers at the Dormition Cathedral in the city of London.
His Grace was assisted by Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko,  Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, Archpriest Alexander Dyagilev, Rector of the church of St.  Simeon the God-Receiver in Skachki, St. Petersburg, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch.
The liturgical chants were sung by the cathedral choir conducted by Marina Bezmenova.
At the end of the service, His Grace warmly greeted the pilgrims from St. Petersburg, congratulated parishioners and the clergy of the Cathedral with the feast of the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles, Pentecost, and addressed everyone with words of edification.
Subdeacon Nikita Anatolyevich Mishin, ktitor of the Dormition Cathedral in London, was awarded with Patriarchal medal "In memory of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of the Patriarchate in the Russian Orthodox Church" for his diligent work for the benefit of the Russian Orthodox Church.
