« On the day of the memory of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh led the Liturgy at the Cathedral of London »

On Saturday July 28, 2018, on the ninth week after Pentecost, on the day of memory of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral in London.

His Eminence was assisted  by the clergy of the cathedral: Archpriest Maxim Nikolsky and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch. During the service, Protopriest Pavel Tsvetkov (ROCOR) from the Holy Cross Cathedral in Geneva, prayed and received Holy Mysteries of Christ.

After the final prayer, Priest Dimitry Nedostupenko, secretary of the Diocese of Sourozh, and Protodeacon Vadim Santsevitch read out, in Russian and in English, message of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on the occasion of the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia.

At the end of the service the Most Reverend Archpastor and the clergy venerated the icon of St. Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles.

At the end of the Liturgy, the Most Reverend Bishop addressed the parishioners with the words of spiritual edification, congratulated the communicants of the Holy Misteries of Christ and offered to the believers his archpastoral blessing.
