On June 10, 2018, after the Annual Conference of the Diocese of Sourozh, the Most Reverend Bishop Matthew of Sourozh and participants of the conference made a pilgrimage to the Abbey of St. Albans.
The Most Reverend Vladyka led a prayer service at the tomb and relics of the holy protomartyr of Britain Alban (+304). After the moleben, the pilgrims made a tour of the cathedral and the territory of the Abbey. The tour was led by the rector of the St. Nicholas Church in Oxford, Archpriest Stephen Platt, Secretary General of St. Alban and St. Sergius Community.
