« Bishop Elisey visited the Cathedral in Chiswick on its Patron Saint’s day »

On the 17th of July, the day of remembrance of the Holy Royal martyrs, Bishop Elisey of Sourozh, together with Archbishop Mark of Berlin, Germany and the Great Britain, have celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad Cathedral of Dormition in Chiswick. The Liturgy was celebrated in the lower Church, consecrated in honour of the Holy Royal martyrs. Apart from parishioners of the Chiswick Cathedlal, many people from the London Cathedral were also present at the Parton Saints celebration.

The Divine Liturgy was followed by a festive sacred procession with a reading from the Gospel and asperges.

During the celebration of the Liturgy, the Right Reverend arch-flamen were assisted by priest Nicholay Savchenko from the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad and protodeacon Dmitry Nedostupenko from the London Cathedral.

After the service, everyone was invited to share festive meal.
