On February 17, 2019, on the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh led the Divine Liturgy at the Stavropegical Patriarchal metochion of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
The Right Reverend Vladyka was assisted by Archpriest Michail Nasonov, Rector of the metochion, Dean of the Diocesan District of Republic of  Ireland, Priest Dimitry  Nedostupenko, Secretary of the Diocese of Sourozg, Archpriest Nikolai Kobets, Priest Nikolai Evseev, Priest Gennady Sokolov, Priest Sergiy Sokolov, Priest Ioann Kazadoev, Deacon Sergiy Starovoytov, Deacon Grigory Oborochanu and Deacon Mark Dadela.
The liturgical chants were sung by the choir of the metochion under the direction of Tamara Butkovskaya.
Petitions for the unity of the Orthodox Church and the preservation of the Church from divisions and schisms were lifted up at the Augmented litany. After the Augmented litany, the Right Reverend Archpastor offered up a prayer for the peace in Ukraine.
During the Liturgy, His Grace ordained Deacon Gregory Oborochanu, cleric of the parish of St Patric of Ireland in the city of Waterford, to the priesthood and reader Ioann Chernelevsky - to the rank of deacon.
After the Liturgy, glorification to the feast of the  Meeting of the Lord was sung, after which the Archpastor turned to the clergy and parishioners of the church with words of preaching and spiritual edification. In turn, Vladyka Matthew was warmly welcomed by Father Michail Nasonov, Rector of the church, who thanked Vladyka for his fatherly care for believers in Ireland,  for the opportunity to pray and co-celebrate the Divine Liturgy together with their Archpastor, as well as for the ordinance of new diocesan clerics.
